Community Action Network

Connecting Long Islanders to Long Island Issues

What if finding a meaningful volunteer opportunity could be arranged with the simple click of a button? We got pretty excited thinking about how technology can help teach the community about all the amazing ways to serve while also helping local non-profits connect with a motivated volunteer base.

We are carefully curating an ever growing list of meaningful volunteer opportunities with non-profit organizations throughout Suffolk County, NY. Signing up for our volunteer network will give you updates for volunteer opportunities specifically matched to your volunteering needs.

Even more excitingly is our instant access scheduling portal, anticipated in the spring of 2024 where you will be able to search and schedule directly from our website, for others you will be put in touch with a staff member from that particular organization to take your next steps.

Find your calling.

We can’t wait to have our searchable database and scheduling site live and we are working hard to make it happen. For now please consider joining our volunteer network, checking out the information below, or contact programs@licommunityconnections.org to chat with one of our team about available volunteer opportunities that are right for you.
