We know that we are all better together. When we pool our collective energy and resources the possibilities are endless. Our work at Long Island Community Connections is finding ways to spark creativity and innovation, connecting untapped resources with unmet needs.

What if finding a meaningful volunteer opportunity could be arranged with the simple click of a button? We got pretty excited thinking about how technology can help teach the community about all the amazing ways to serve while also helping local non-profits connect with a motivated volunteer base.
How many art supplies are thrown out by families and stores each year? What is the impact of lack of reliable access to art supplies for kids experiencing homelessness? We wondered about these questions too, and we found a surprising way to weave them together for an amazing community solution!
